1. Booking and confirmation

A booking is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from Paleo Trails Africaand pay the required deposit (50% of the total trip cost). The remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip start date.

2. Cancellation policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trip start date receive a full refund minus any non-recoverable fees. Cancellations between 14 and 30 days receive a 50% refund. No refund is available for cancellations within 14 days of the trip start date.

3. Health and fitness

You must be in good health and declare any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations at the time of booking. Paleo Trails Africareserves the right to refuse participation if a guest's health or fitness level poses a risk to themselves or the group.

4. Insurance

All guests must have valid travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, trekking activities up to 4,000 m altitude, and personal liability. Proof of insurance must be provided before the trip start date.

5. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure your safety, trekking in natural environments carries inherent risks. Paleo Trails Africa is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, wildlife encounters, or changes in terrain.

6. Changes to itineraries

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Alternative routes or activities of equivalent value will be arranged where possible.
